Information Sessions

Information Sessions are the best way to get a better feel for the school to find out if it is the right fit for your family.  You will also have a chance to place your child on the waitlist and get all of your questions answered.  These sessions cover logistics and basics about the First School and the Elementary School, as well as the philosophy behind both schools.  RSVPs are appreciated but not required, and we do ask that children please stay at home.  You can find the dates for upcoming sessions on the Events page and you can RSVP to: info@thepatchworkschool.com.   

Tours, Observations, Participatory Visits, Etc.

In order to disrupt the natural flow of the day as little as possible, we do not regularly offer tours, drop-ins, or observations.  We also find that, because of the fluid nature of the philosophy, it can be very difficult to get a true sense of the school from observing for a short period of time. 

We do occasionally make exceptions for teachers doing research for a class or individuals looking to start a school.  We do also offer participatory visits for parents and children that have been offered a spot.  However, we ask that any visitor comes prepared to engage and participate rather than observe, so that you can have a more genuine experience.  Please contact us if you are interested in finding out more about a participatory visit.
